The FHM/FH series was upgraded to the FH series in March 2024. This lets you use the transmitter to check and switch between new and old communication modes with a transmitter. Another plus: the T-FHSLS256 features longer battery life and greater communication range.

Example of built Pokayoke (error proofing) system
HCPWFHM230 wireless error proofing hose clip pliers that permit hose clips to be attached and detached wirelessly can be custom modified upon order.
Features
- Upgraded from the FH256MC.
- The wireless distance of the T-FHM has been extended to around 20–30 meters (only when operated in new telecommunication mode).
- Can monitor transmitter battery voltage. Alerts when voltage drops below set voltage (only when operated in new telecommunication mode).
- T-FHM/T-FH transmitter battery life: Approx. 650,000 times of use, therefore about 25% more than for the older T-FH256MC transmitter model.
- T-FHM mode can be changed to the older telecommunication mode using the R-CM receiver or the SB-FH2 setting controller. The R-FH256MC receiver is compatible with the previous FH256MC. The T-FH transmitter set to the older telecommunication mode is also available.
- Upon reaching the set torque, a completion signal is transmitted by radio wave.
- Wireless wrench eliminates space limitations.
- Uses answerback system for operator to verify communication status.
- The T-FHSLS256 is compact and offers excellent workability. Easy to convert from an LS torque wrench.
- Using just the R-CM receiver (sold separately) makes it possible to manage the number of tightening times for a single torque wrench, taking advantage of the Pokayoke (error proofing) system to prevent missed tightening.
- When the IO-CM contact box (sold separately) is connected to the receiver, one receiver can check the IDs of up to four torque wrenches. When combined with use of the CNA-4mk3 Count Checker (Poka Patrol), it is easy to build a Pokayoke (error proofing) system.
- The FHM/FH series are compliant with ISO 6789:2017 starting January 2022. For more information, see the technical data “Initiatives for ISO 6789:2017” at the bottom of the screen.

T-FHM and T-FH transmitters conform to wireless technical standards in Japan (TELEC), the U.S. (FCC), Canada (IC), the EU (CE), Taiwan (NCC), South Korea (KC), Thailand (NTC), India (WPC), Indonesia (SDPPI), Singapore (IMDA), Brazil (ANATEL), and South Africa (ICASA). (Information valid as of July 2021.) However, certain restrictions apply regarding export procedures to Indonesia (SDPPI), so please check with Tohnichi for more information. Can also be used in China.
The T-FHSLS256 transmitter conforms to telecommunication standards in Japan, the U.S., the EU, China, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Mexico, Vietnam, Russia, and India. For other countries, please contact Tohnichi.
One R-CM receiver can communicate with a maximum of four torque devices, but it does not function with a mixture of new and old communication modes. (You can use the SB-FH2 setting controller to switch FHM and CSPFHW to the older communication mode).
SI unit products and metric unit products in the FHM/FH series are compliant with ISO 6789:2017 starting January 2022. Calibration Certificates will be different from older products. American unit products are not compliant with ISO 6789:2017.
Standard accessory
One AAA alkaline battery (for testing) is provided with the T-FHM or T-FH.
One Panasonic CR2032 button lithium battery (for testing) is provided with the T-FHSLS.

◆ Things to remember when ordering
The CSPFHM is pre-set, so torque cannot be set without a tester.
When ordering, please specify the torque values you intend to apply.
Can also be mounted on models other than the CSP. Please contact us for details.
The group channel and ID are initially set when you place the order. To change them, the SB-FH2 setting controller (sold separately) is required.
