There are two types of torque screwdrivers: signal-type and direct reading models. Click type torque screwdrivers are used primarily for tightening. When the set torque is achieved, rotary slip prevents over-torque, and the hand feels a release of tension, indicating tightened-to-completion. Direct reading torque screwdrivers are used primarily for measuring and inspection. They display numerical measurement values. We also supply Pokayoke (error-proof) torque screwdrivers designed to prevent human tightening errors.
Torque wrenches come in two varieties: click type and direct reading. The click-type torque wrenches are used mostly for tightening. When the set torque is achieved a “click” sound indicates that it is tightened to completion. The direct-reading torque wrenches are used mostly for measuring and inspection; they display measurement values. Pokayoke (error-proofing) torque wrenches help prevent human tightening errors. They come in three varieties: wired, wireless, and marking. The click type and direct-reading type both have models that transfer measurement results wirelessly.
All interchangeable head torque wrenches are displayed in our lineup of signal type torque wrenches and direct reading torque wrenches. Tohnichi’s lineup of torque wrenches includes many interchangeable head types. Our selection of interchangeable heads, the best in the world, is designed to promote excellent work conditions.
Tohnichi’s lineup of power torque tools includes power torque screwdrivers and power torque wrenches. Our power torque screwdrivers are equipped with either our proprietary torque control mechanism “Toggle Mechanism” or a built-in torque sensor for precision torque control. Our lineup of power torque wrenches includes semi-automatic pneumatic models, semi-automatic electric models, battery-operated semi-automatic models, fully automatic pneumatic models, and fully automatic electric models.
Tohnichi's lineup of multiple units (nut runners) for multi-spindle tightening equipment includes both pneumatic and electric models. All types are equipped with a toggle type torque control mechanism we developed and perfected ourselves to promote precision torque control. Some models have a torque sensor for complex torque control functions.
Testers are devices designed for calibrating, and are used mainly during periodic calibrations, repairs and setting torque on preset torque tools. Checkers are devices designed for daily checks, and are used to check torque devices.
These torque gauges are small capacity torque measuring equipment. Both mechanical and digital models are available. These torque meters are tabletop torque measuring equipment. Both mechanical and digital models are available. These torque sensors come in a choice of rotary and fixed types. They are designed to be used while connected to an indicator. These calibration kits are to calibrate torque measuring equipment, testers and checkers. They accurately maintain and control measuring equipment calibrated by your company, improving work quality while reducing costs.
Two types of hydraulic bolt tension meters: the B-BTM, which is fastened to a table with bolts, and the BTM, which is used when clamping reinforcing bars at construction sites. The TT2000 ultrasonic tension meter performs non-destructive tests to determine the axial tension of actual machine bolts, so it is useful for examining the changes in axial tension that can occur over time, and for discovering loosening.
Also available: attachments for fixed torque sensors, torque indicators for torque sensors, Pokayoke (error-proofing) counters and wireless Pokayoke devices (Optional Equipment), data processing equipment, torque attachments, and battery packs for torque tools.
Explains items needed to be purchased separately for use of Tohnichi torque devices, and how to choose accessories designed to improve work efficiency even more and marking torque wrenches designed to prevent human errors when tightening bolts and screws.
Tohnichi’s tightening assurance system eliminates various mistakes that occur during bolt tightening operations, and advises users how to perform tightening operations properly. For example: “About 1.5 million final tightening operations, with zero human tightening errors!” One manufacturer says that two and a half years after beginning to use Tohnichi’s tightening assurance system, the system has reduced human tightening errors to zero at their factory and ensures proper control over all torque operations. These Tohnichi products are required to establish a system to prevent a wide range of problems.
