Calibration Certificates, Traceability System Diagram, and Certificates of Non-Conformity

What is “JCSS”?

JCSS stands for Japan Calibration Service System. The system registers calibration providers, and verifies conformity with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements for calibration providers, as stipulated by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electro technical Commission (IEC). The Tohnichi Torque Standards Calibration Laboratory performs document-based and site-oriented inspections to determine whether agents’ quality assurance systems, calibration methods, uncertainty estimations, and equipment and facilities are suitable for proper calibrations, and whether their quality assurance systems are functioning properly. The laboratory was registered as a calibration provider (Torque Category) on November 24, 2011.
