What is the difference between QL and QLE?

The QLE2 is a large torque wrench. The wrench body can be unscrewed to separate it in two. The separated part that is gripped by the hand is piping called an extension bar handle. Models with an extension bar handle are indicated with an E at the end of the QL model name, as “QLE”.

*In July 2013 the QLE underwent a model change to become the QLE2 series. Releasing that series’ lock mechanism separates the body from the extension bar handle in a one-touch action. Torque adjustments are easy without the use of a tool.
