Product Specifications/How To Use

What does the “15D” or “19D” in the names of Interchangeable head torque wrench and Interchangeable head models mean? - Relationship between Tohnichi’s interchangeable head torque wrenches and interchangeable heads?

“15D” or “19D” in their names. The “D” is for diameter, the diameter of the insert used to secure the interchangeable head in the torque wrench. If the diameters of the relevant parts of the torque wrench and interchangeable head match, the insertion will be secure. For example, you can connect an SH or an RH (inch size) head to the same torque wrench, to meet the requirements of the task at hand. And, for completely different tasks, you can use the same SH head on a CL model for tightening and on a CEM3 model for inspecting. If “15D” is at the end of the model name for an interchangeable head torque wrench, that model can be used to secure 15D interchangeable heads.
